This is my girlfriends project car. A tolbot sunbeam

. Its a 1.3 automatic shell and shes dropping a 1.6 rally spec lump into it with a close ratio box

. This thing should supprise a few cars up to 100mph

Still needs alot of welding and a respray, but should be uber cool when its done

Dropped the engine in on saturday evening and everthing is so simple, theres about 4 wires in the loom

Only the french would put the inlet and exhaust manifolds on the same side

Was only running with a manifold so was foooking loud.

we had the Talbot Sunbeam owners club rally at the hotel all last weekend; about 20 cars for the full weekend - all in top condition

guy in work rallies one of these with a vaux 2ltr 8valve engine in and LSD, loves to go sideways
