must last me a year.......

Want: reliable, bit of poke, no more than group 8 insurance
PAS pref, anything else a bonus

Upto now my best bet is a 1.6 nissan almera

any other ideas- any knowledge on the pizza delivery car

get ureself a renault 5 prima campus...obviously low mileage and 12 months mot with it....they are fastest/cheapest car ure find mate...all a few about...if not checkout rover 100s...loads with granny mileage and in gud nick about get a real bargain

looked at the rover 114's seemed fairly nippy for a complete shitter

But yet to see any suggestions that beat the almera ....... wold have to paint the alloys gold

I used to have one of those an 'esi'

16v sohc aswell always boggled me.

They are group 13 iirc.

VTR might be a bit unreliable as would peugoet..... will have a look at a couple though MK2 golf has been looked at..... but bit hefty insurance if i want one that isn't a 1.3

VTR's aren't really all that bad reliability wise. My mate's Ph1 is on 102,000 and is going strong

are they quick? 1.4's arn't they shoudln't be to bad..... but don't want to have to fork out for a gear box within a week
