Im going to convert mine to xenons has anyone else done this and if so can you post pics of them
i dont know whether to get 8000k 9000k 10000k or 12000k
what d'ya think?

have been quoted 200 for kit and fitting for 8000k kit but dont know if that will be bright enough want the brightness of a 06 plate porsche carerra 911 looks hot.

speak to dave a as he does the kit for the corsa and can show you the picks of which kit emitts which light at certain power

I paid £80 for my Bosch set, H4 8000k they look shit hot,
Fitted them myself in half an hour
Get Bi Xenons ( they do the main and dipped beam)

8000k will be plenty bright enough..... thats ususally what OE H.I.Ds are, anything rated higher than that start to look blue'r as the light beam scatters more.

i like the blue look though do the 8000k still have a tint of blue to them? i know at night they look different some look bluer then others

yes, the 8000k will have a blue/purple tint.....but not as much as the others.
search HID on ebay and one of the adds shows a light colour chart.

the lower the number the brighter and whiter the light is. Most OE ones are 6k iirc.

yeh i now know what k i want 10000k deep blue colour not as bright as some but still looks nice,
i saw the light chart on ebay but am put off buying on there,
anyone know anywhere in the london and surrounding areas that sells the kits h7 10000k,
tried carniouseur in illford but no joy.............

10k may be too much as you may get pulled by the police id stick to around 8k.
if its too blue you will get unwanted attention from the police

10000k is road legal i think
people keep telling me it will attract the police but jaguars and porsches have 12 to 15k as factory standard,
anyone know the law on this?

nope jags n audis have 12-15k my cousin got the new tt with bi xenons 15k factory standard.
