yeh i got 1 but its in the wet when i 1st got it so it spins although 2nd and 3rd so i'll take u a new 1 if u want

They are not too far off a 1.6 but they are different to drive. And a standard 1.6 should beat a 1.4 thats been modded to achieve the same bhp.

It doesnt seem to pull in any gear, even in first it seems sluggish. I let my mate have a go and he sed its was that much quicker than his old 1.2 8v Corsa. So thats why i wanted to see some videos.

maybe needs a bit of TLC? good service and a bit of an overhaul? My 14 sport has it's off days (so it seems). some days it's responsive, others- it's really sluggish and it feels like a different car lol. cold air feed and K&N panel filter seems to have given my car a bit of life to what it was and it happens less often.
could it be anything like that?

I gave it a service two days ago, oil, oil filter and spark plugs and it seems abit better. As you sed some days its feel pretty good and others it doesnt. I put a standard air box back on and took a cover of the side so it sucks in cold air from the inner arch and it seemed better again so...
Any other ideas?

erm.........weather affects mine- doesn't like wet/humid days (you get a loty of that up here lol). Redex fuel system cleaner has made a difference and I've found a garage that has descent petrol in my area, that's helped.
I'm no expert so It could be anything really, the age of your car makes a difference too i suppose and how well it's been treated.
TBH I've just accepted it happens and I just put up with it. It's just a matter of troubleshooting and could take ages. It is very annoying when ur trying to over take tho!!

Yea i may try some of tha Redex hrd its good! I use shell fuels as the garage is about a mile away, so it shouldn't be the fuel.
I think i'll stick it out for abit, save up and buy a 1.6 16v lol
