3 of us will be getting a return flight from sydney in november time. We have only 3 weeks in australia so would like to know where things are etc.
In the day time we want to do stuff like Skydive, White water rafting, jungle/island trekking, surfing, jetskis etc.
But in the evenings we would like to maybe go out in sydney for a couple of nights and then go out to bars whereever else we end up.
Is there only certain places in Oz that we can do the above extreme sports? Like up in the North where its tropical?
We are not bothered where we end up as we have heard that internal flights are really cheap so could just hop on one back to sydney for the return journey.
Thanks for any help! SI.

All the adventure type stuff you like. It's on the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland.

thats ok but it all depends on what you want to do and see, i went for 3 weeks and went all over the east coast and had something planned for every day i was out there so i knew where i had to be and when so i saw and did everything i wanted. Sydney is a busy city, i was there 4 days and managed everything i wanted, saw all the beaches, the sights and stuff. I also did byron bay(nimbin, you have to do a search on that place!!! ),also brisbane, Noosa, Fraser Island, Cairns and Port Douglas. Was hard work planning it all but really worth it in the end. You will get hooked on the country, everyone ive spoke to wants to go back. I'm looking at going back for a few months early next year and taking it at a more leisurely pace this time and seeing the whole country.

I'm thinking of going to Oz next year on my own....no mates will be able to afford it!
Anyone else been on their own? Not sure if it'd be a bit crap without a mate.....don't know what I'd go and see, but then I haven't really looked in to it too much....

So did you organise it all from here in the Uk? Because ive bee told to just get a flight there and sort it all then when you are there to get deals from the hostels etc.

i did do it all before i went but once there realised its just as east to sort it all out while your over there as long as you a good idea of where you want to go and what you want to do so you dont spend all day on the internet.
