Here is my small order from www.myprotein.co.uk

11kg of Protein (EURO)
5kg of scottish ultra fine oats
2 x 180 CEE (Creatine)
1 x Black Star Labs flavouring
1 x 500g Taurine.
Taurine is the new supp this time - it really makes me buzz when i take it! It's in red bull (1g) , but the serving size is 5 - 6g
If you order dont forget the 5% discount code: MP20541
Does anyone use any other supps? If so what are they and are they worth the money?
- oh and protein flapjacks for holiday!!!

I'm going to be moving house soon so the bigger tubs will come in handy!
Also, i usually have one tub of something at home and one at work.

Taurine will increase heart-reat and metabolism. Fucking waste of time if you're bulking

It has nothing to do with bulking. It has something to do with getting me completely buzzing for a gym session - which it does.

exactly. It has nothing to do with bulking. You dont want a high metabolism for bulking. Taurine is like taking diet pills

You will find that some CEE's will have some Taurine in anyway - not as much as a serving, but still exists.
Have you taken Taurine before Jake?

no, firstly, because all i ever did when i trained was bulk and secondly, i know my shit so i dont need to take it to know what it does and does not do.
I havent taken an ECA stack but i know its a diet supplement

its because your practically taking steriods :/
i don't think any less of you. its just i dont agree with all this taking "stuff" to motervate yourself. Admittedly i have days down the gym were i'm not feeling 100% energy wize. But i just get on with it, and make sure i eat the right things (to a degree) after.

jake is spot on.
some of the other comments in here are misinformed or unedcuated and quite frankly laughable.
using the generally accepted rule of 1g of protein per 1lb of bodyweight a 200lb bodybuilder needs at least 200 grams of protein per day. Thats around 6 cans of tuna, you try eating that in a day, everyday. or its a shit load of eggs again very difficult to even stomach or have the time to eat/prepare it if you work full time.
This is where protein supplementation comes in, its a quick and convinient way to get the protein your body is crying out for when trying to pack on muscle mass.
The best i can do with normal food in a day is probably 90-100 grams of protein. I get the remaining 100grams from one shake with breakfast, one pre workout and another at bedtime. I simply dont have the time, means to get 200 grams of protein from food alone due to work commitments, inconvienience etc.
over the last 10 years i have seen guys train their ass off and hardly ever pack on any weight, simply because their nutrition is not up to scratch. sure they eat healthy but the calories/protein is not there.
NEVER underestimate how much fuelling your body needs to grow, or youll be a chump not a champ.
eat big, get big, train hard and heavy its a simple formula.
