I spent alot of my 4 years at Uni in that club. Best club i've been in.

I'm really gutted about this. Pretty much went to all the montly Crasher nights which were awesome

Simon Raine is going to be rebuilding the club tho & says it will be bigger & better. Doubt it will be as good as the original GC1/Republic

It will probably be relaunched bigger and better...but not the same. It had a real charactor and atmosphere that won't be recreated.

tbh i didnt like the club apart from the crasher nights but as you say it will be rebuilt bigger and better
