They're not cheap, it'll be more than most of the others TBH.

The Clio 1.8 16v is a good buy too

Im sorry , but people seem to jump when someone mentions a 106 gti, yeah K2's comments could of been less agreesive, but people saying "a 1.6 corsa sport is as quick", or that its not a pocket rocket, im sorry but they are, ive owned a punto GT and two 1.6 corsa's and niether of them put a smile on my face like my VTS does..

In my eyes pocket rockets are

106 gti/ saxo vts
starlet turbo
Clio valver
Civic VTI
Clio 172/182
Corsa C20xe ( dont know if you just wanted standard though)

I can guarentee all the cars pipped against each other would be very close and there wouldnt be much in it between any of them !

My punto GT was good too, about 165bhp, very quick but handles like an absolute boat, i wouldnt reconmend one if you like going round corners.

How much money do you actually have ?

to much power on the front wheels, caant really power out of a turn, you seem to just go striaght on rather than round. they are good, just not brilliant!

-wylo- on here had a Starlet (non turbo, Glanza shape) with coilovers, I'd imagine it handled well from what he said, and it seemed really tight and stiff.

my glanza has Tein coilovers which are very good, but tbh needs setting up properly and i need better tyres. but on starlet forums, they all no there starlets are useually fast as fuck but to race round twisty's they no they wont win!

well yeah tbh im not saying my cr is anything like fast... its a 1.2 8v for gods sake lol, BUT it was free with no issues or anything wrong with it and only 52k on the clock also, i now have 4k saved up for when i can afford the insurance which for a 17-y-o is pretty gd i reckon

dont worry bout insurance, anyone who didnt pay more than the cars worth is a pussy imo. When your like 18 its all about having a car with gsi or gt turbo on the back, and for me and my mates if it ment paying through the nose then so be it.

I dont agree with all this wait till your older stuff, im 24 and selling my cars etc to buy a house with my girlfriend. Your only young once get yourself a nice little fun hatch mate.
