Ive noticed that some suspension kits for the corsa B say that they dont fit all corsa B's. Usually saying not for 1.0 or gsi etc.

Why is this? I thought that all the chassis were the same Is it just for example that they wont lower a gsi the stated amount etc due to it already been lower? Or am i missing something?

They do fit, they just don't lower as much as the GSi is lower.

i.e a 60mm kit will only drop a GSI 50mm, IIRC.

Yer that doesnt worry me as I assumed that automatically.
So I wouldnt encounter any other problems. As i did assume that all B shells/chassies were the same. Only variable been the weight of the engine etc from model to model

i thought it was the springs the lower the gsi an extra 10mm or whatever it is from factory, so if you took them off and put a normal 60mm lowering kit on it then it will still lower it 60mm?

correct mark. all kits are the same really, just that the gsi was 15mm lower to begin with so a 60mm kit will only lower it 45mm. the gis kit to both, both will be the same height when fitted.

so get a 1.4 sport and a gsi, fit
