Basically i want something quicker than the diesel power now, Do i :-

a) put the diesel back to standard and buy another arden blue petrol car to put my bits on

B) diesel to petrol conversion

c) sell it as is and start afresh

I cant decide what to do

Sell the bits, put it back to standard and then sell it, then buy another car.

i would like to put the same kind of bumpers on the next corsa though. ideally i want an ardern blue sport, would make life easier

If its a 1.5 then what about putting a 1.7 turbo on it. Its quite cheap to do, i know a friend who did this and seen quite good results, not alot of difference in it and a 1.4 16v sport.

buy another arden blue corsa then swap the parts over then sell the standard diesel corsa

i have thought about this in the past, mines a 1700 na diesel, quite tunable ive heard too?

conversion...you work at a garage which must help ? find a sport donor car and transfer averything...

Get an izuzu 1.7td fired in it and up the boost and fueling.. Great mpg and quite quick.

i really am at that point where i cant be bothered with the damn thing any more, 1.7td would be good and different, just need the motivation to do something about it

I would go down this route, quite good performance for little money spent and still retain great mpg.

Buy a 1.6 Sport and put your bumper extension, arches and wheels on it.

Make sure that the alternator is fine, there notorious for them and there hard to come by. £200 for a new one last time I checked...

the amount of people who dont know its diesel is funny, have quite a shock when they hear it in the flesh and its diesel power
