Currently with Direct Line fully comp, but If i was to drive to another country (Germany) would I still be insured?

Not sure on the insurance, but I don't know how old you are and there are restrictions with regard to licence

insurance you ring up and get a green card i think its called then you can drive

So what do I actually have to do to get the all clear to drive over there?

Had a look online and can't really find much information

Your normally covered for 60 days abraod but phone ur company to check. 18 to drive in germany.
