gonna cover my parcel shelf tomorro and install my 6x9's.
my question is do you think i should show my 6x9s or make it a stealth shelf?
i was thinkin maybe cut the hole for them but then mount them underneath but i really like the design of them so wanna show them... does it still sound good if there mounted underneath?

MDF ring under it then mount it on there!
cut holes through and re cover, sorted!

I had 6x9s mounted on my parcel shelf in my old corsa, sound was good and no-one took any notice even though they were on show

Totally depends what you want plus where you live really.

Put it this way, if i had to leave my car on the road at night i'd have made a stealth shelf

right am going to do it right now. what if i just drill lots of small holes for the sound to come through instead of cutting the hole???

cut out the 6x9 area so it's a hole in the MDF then cover it with some grille:
