I hate hearing about her. Don't get me wrong, its very sad etc - but the media are acting like this is the first time it's ever happened to a child. What about all the other families? Im sorry but i dont give a fuck about Madeline's family and if they did or didn't do it, because at the end of the day, the media will always throw something else out there to keep them in the papers for longer.

actually it's all the parents fault and they are using this to visit more countries and stay in the sun. they will come back here in July and early August and then go back (when the sun dissapears here)

Possibility.....
I mean, who in their right mind would leave 2 children alone at night, in another country. What if the children woke up (large possibility), no parents around, scared children, or naughty children. Parents meanwhile are none the wiser...
And they get kidnapped, and the parents are none the wiser...
Isn't one of them a doctor too.... See, doesn't matter how much brains you've got if you've got FA commen sense.
Leaving 2 children sub 5 on their own. ISn't that illegal in this country. tbh, I can't feel sorry for them at all. If they'd have been decent parents either the kids would have been with them, or they would be at the appartment. Simple really.

Yes but the point is, everyone is getting sick of hearing about it now Personally i dont give a fuck about that little girl. It's really sad, and i wouldnt wish it on anybody - and yes i hope deep down she is ok... But unless it affects me personally, i'll feel bad for 10 seconds, and forget about it in the next 5. Pisses me off that everytime i watch the news its all about this one little girl.

If madalaine was half cast-- her mum was white, her dad was black, they were both unemployed and both non catholics............would we still be hearing about this story?
The answer is no...... her parents are middle class, christians, educated and speak well to the media...... thats why the hysteria has been whipped up to a point where it is not helping the police investigation.
The other thing that cracks me up is because the portugese police do not talk to the media- our gutter press are on a mission to make their police look incompetant...... just because they are not like scotland yard who will kill their own mother to get in front of a television camera
