Off to Edinburgh tomorrow for until Sunday night. Need some ideas of places to visit.
What are the decent bars/clubs to drink in. Nothing too serious so cheesy music would probably do.
All so which is the best 'gentlemans' club to visit?
7 of us going so will be splitting up when going into places etc!
Ideas on a postcard please?!

Mood isn't a stripper, just a club.

It depends what you want really. If you want a bit of a classy night out, stick to George Street (except Bar 38). Personal favourites are Candy Bar, Living Room and Le Monde. Favourite club is Why Not? which has decent tunes and good quality birds.
On the other end, if you just want a night out with low hassle bouncers, go for Grassmarket area. Loads of pubs round there, Espionage is usually full of stags. My favourite is Liquid Rooms cause its indie night on Fridays.

DO NOT GO TO CAVANDISH
full of jakie neds.
George St is good if a little hoity toity.
Start off in the afternoon at the Dome (east end of George St)...
Work your way along....
Dome
Opium
GranCru
TigerLilly
Oloroso
heaps of places....
Then another day go down to the 'Grassmarket & Cowgate' a bit more lively and real crowd. Irish bars and lots of studenty places. Three Sisters is always a hoot. Andy Stockers mate owns Chasers too
I'd avoid all the big shity clubs.... but thats just me.

Best strip club is probably Fantasy Palace, its more like a bar than a strip club tbh but a good atmosphere and the birds are no bad. Ask for Ali and say Stuart says hi
Cavendish upstairs is cheese tastic, downstairs is full of neds, I think Bar 38 is a must as the tunes are superb
AK's shout to hit the grassmarket is a good one as you can get away with more

Cheers for the heads up,
Fri: Smashed before we even took off, Started on the Royal Mile then went in all the bars on the way down to The Grassmarket and Cowgate, then somehow ended up in some scabby pub on George St doing Karoke. Got kicked out of there for being too rowdy. Some of us made it to Ignite/Lava??? Don't know how, was good downstairs though.
Sat: Woke by the hostel manager at 8.00am and asked to pack our bags and leave Apparently we involved in a food fight from our room window on the 5th floor. Talked our way out of that. Went for a wander in the day, spent most of the day in Native state the down Lauriston place? Went back and had a kip. Evening- Back on the Royal Mile then taxi to the Pubic Triangle Stayed up that end til 1ish then went to Why Not?
Sunday: Total will loss, spent most of the day playing Nintendo Wii in The 3 Sisters, ended up trollied again and went back down to the Grassmarket.
Quality City, can't wait to go back, want to see a few more of the sites next time though!

It could have been anywhere for all I know, only know it was there from pictures on my phone!
Hooters for strips- had better, had worse! Can't beat a good £20 filthy dance!
Chan- think it was Lauries that we were drinking in. Somehow ended up walking back down there after coming out of Why Not?! Took about 2 hours to get home, stood cheering on the poor dears doing the Moonwalk
