Bilstein do a very good coilover kit if you want it to handle well, be comfortable and last a long time.

FK will last a while but tend to be a bit crashy and dont really handle well. dont expect them to last more than a few winters. We now refuse to adjust Jamex, Gmax, FK, Pi coilovers as 8/10 times they are badly corroded and the threads are so fine that they just fall to bits.

Why dont you inspect the struts before turning down a 45/50quid job

because 8/10 times we find that they are too badly corroded hence them bringing them to us to have a go. theres usually signes of the customer trying themselfes and damaging the spring seats by hammering them!
