im after a new car and wondered what ppls views were between the two, pros and cons. im tempted by the gsi for the comfort, look and overall sexiness of it, but a turbo corsa is summat else.....

depends how much you wanna spend, and what the cars going to be used for, insurance should be considered too!

two completely different styles of car and costs 
one is a "toy" car that will require alot of maintenance will most likely be noisy a bit much as an everyday car etc But can be blisteringly quick
Astra is a modern refined hot hatch that will cost more to buy but less to insure/maintain and will be bigger comfier quieter more composed and better road manners....
Depends what you want from a car!
