Just received my farecla polishing kit through the door this morning, and gave it a shot on my bonnet, that was seriously fucked, no reflection at all:

Then after a session of wash, dry, G3 with the kit, then polish with Mer car polish, it came up like this:

SUPERB!

Still not brilliant, but FAR better than before. Bonnet needs a respreay really, covered in stone chips, but what a difference it made. Im going to do the whole car in this sometime, really really good stuff.

So, go and buy yourself this:

and this:

and get that poor lacquer demolished away by some severly abrasive stuff. In other words, don't do it too often, else you will remove the clear coat completely

I was using a simple spray bottle, and sprayed on a little water now and then, will that be ok for it?

Try using that meguiars 3 stage kit, its about £20 odd, meant to be superb for flame red. As for the spoiler, might need a respray as the lacquer is coming off.

Yeah i was just looking at the halfords website and realised

Are these the 3 stage products:

Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner Step 1
Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish Step 2
Meguiars Deep Crystal Carbauba Wax Step 3

They're on 3 for 2 so might pop down and get some after work.
