I was told R6 ones work better, something to do with compression. My mate has a set of R6 carbs as he crashed his R6

theres 2 ways to do it to an xe.ive been looking into it myself.the 1st way would be to ditch the loom and all sensors and run bike carbs with an old type adjustable dizzy from an old 8valve engine.its a bit crude and you wont make as much power as the second way.the 2nd way is to run a mappable ecu and get it set up properly.this way you would make more power and you keep all your loom and sensors.either way i would go to bogg brothers for a manifold and throttle linkage. or as beardy said you could just get them to do it for you.

From what i remember it was
£500 for manifold and throttle linkage and carbs and a extra £200 for them to get it all fitted, working and setup.
for £200 its not worth the hassle

You will need some form of management system anyway, so if i was you i'd forget carbs and go TBs.

maybe 20 bhp at a guess.if he ran bike tb's though would they produce enought fuel on there standard injectors though?because i know with the carbs you have to drill the main jet out to allow more fuel

I assumed he had a corsasport engine?

Which would need management.
