Blah blah blah, someone rings asking about the car - doesn't sound like your usuall buyer, and mentions some company name - time to waste some f*****s time me thinks...
Him: We can release your details to the customers who have the finance ready-apporved and are wanting to buy your car without wanting to haggle on the price
Me: But they've not seen the car?
H: Is the car in Good condition?
M: Yeah, but you said they'd pay the full price before you asked that? Besides why do they go through you and not look in the free local paper where i've advertised it and contact me directly?
H: They have finace arranged through ourselves which enables them to purchase the car
M: They not heard of a bank loan?
H: Our rates are competitive for the customer. To enable us to pass your details on we need a £69.95 fee from yourself to enable us to do this.
M: You want to charge me to give some naive people my phone number? I tell you what, why don't you knock £70 off the price of the car that you give me, charge the buyer the asking price, and then if they buy the car you'll get the money?
H: Sorry we can't do it that way sir
M: Why not?
H: It's not our policy to do it that way?
M: Is that because you couldn't scam people out of money that way?

yeah ive had that kind of phone call before.......except my scammer was a woman & I asked what colour nickers she had on to make the line go dead
