I have fitted a 1.6 16v GSI engine into my 1.2 8v car, i'm more than happy with the change in speed it's wicked, before I did the mod people said the 16v lumps smoke a bit, this one smokes but not when you boot it but when you slow down just at the bottom of the revs it puffs a bit of smoke out, is this ok ? should i do something to stop it.

the smoke is blue i fink its prob the valve gides but im not to sure

If it's on run down, its proberly a blocked breather.

On the right hand side of the rocker cover (the fat one at the front, it goes under the coil, into the crankcase)

also i think i messed up with the spedo cable i left the 1.2 cable in and now it wont work looking at the 1.6 one it has a joiner for some reason and i cant even see the cable now the engines in let alone change it
