You get a form from the IR office & fill it in with the req. details give it back & then about 6 weeks later you'll get a cheque through the door. I got £1041.96

Ahh right, then eyah, contact ur local HMRC office (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk) and explain and theyll send u the ency paperwork, better than fillign in the wrong form

Out of interest did you not fill out a P46 when you were working?

I thought P46 was only if you didn't have a P45?

Nope... its also used as a student declaration to pay no tax
