in her new 1.4 sport. We were at a set of lights on a duel carriageway. he was revving etc edging forward at the lights so i told her to try race him.

so the lights went green, she got a lead but didnt pull from him. then when she put it in 5th at about 90 he carried it out in 4th and came past slowly.

As he changed into 5th she came back past.

was hilarious seeing his face as she passed him

this was the 8v MK2 golf nothing special small bumpers etc.

im not sure tbh

it spat a small flame out when it changed to 5th aswell. it didnt sound too healthy either.

8v GTi should beat a 1.4 16v corsa no probs...........maybe something not right with it

What does a 1.4 sport do 0-60 in??? Golf should do 0-60 in 8.53's..............I thought a 1.4 sport was like 10s or there abouts

My mate has a mk2 golf 8v and i could beat him off the line every time and continue to pull away, mine was a 1.4 8v aswell!

If it was a 8v gti it was very unhealthy
