Well it isn't at the moment but just a bit curious.

Basically when i change gear ie 1st or 2nd it sometimes makes a small sqeaking noise as im at the biting point. Doesn't do it all the time but does quite often.

I havn't noticed any problems changing the gear it self and doesnt feel different at all. Just a small squeaking sound.

Any ideas what it is and how it could be sorted??

My sister had that problem not long ago in her 206 and it was the clutch cable and unfortunatly it snapped while she was driving, not good. Maybe the same problem.
