has anyone of here had/here a Sportex backbox on their car? i've seen them on ebay and thinking about getting one. I need to sell mine to fund a new engine, so i need something cheap and nice sounding. I like the look on these:

4" inward rolled


4" Oval


3" twin outward rolled


3/3.5" outward rolled



so what do you guys think or any info?

thats mine 4" oval with the sportex center section still has the cat in.

backbox on its own was quite quiet and it still is untill its warmed up.

mines not raspy untill i get above 4k which i rarely do cause it does sound horrible but up till then its so deep and nice imo.

my bro had a full system on his including de-cat and his isnt raspy at all, sounds very nice and not too loud at all

i'm going to get one of these systems but unsure which. I'm looking at the 3" outward rolled, 4" inward rolled or the oval one.

Which one do you guys think?
