Tesco said the same thing to me when I wanted to insure my 2.0 Corsa. Some insurers do decide not to insure young people on fast cars. Seems like a good idea to me too now looking back on it.

Tescos are wierd like that TBH, they wouldn't touch me if I swapped my engine from 1.4 to 1.6 so I had to go elsewhere

VXR is a lot to insure though £1600 for me, TPFT

dont recon they will be to bad, i got a quote on a vxr for the same price as my clio sport, but with the vaule twice as high

its not going to be as bad as insuring say feista turb in the late 90's.

I found loads of insurance companies to insure me on a gsi when i was 18 with no ncb, just dont bother going near the bigger comanies like tesco, waste of time.
