What driveshafts would i use? or would i need some to be made? how straight forward is the conversion into 1.2 8v?

i cheated really. i bought it all tatty but with the engine slumped in.
it buggered up though so im putting a new one in and am sure to find out.
im pretty sure its astra GTE parts mate. You can use ones from cav sri's though.

what you getting. the SEH or NE 8v?

yeh thats what ive got. is a schweeeeeeet engine. Puts power down very well - has no lag or anything.

i'd just say get astra GTE parts(8v parts of course) as thats what mine has and its lovely jubly - untill i shattered a piston and knackered me valves.

just done same conversion,,used the cavvy shafts,n/s needed shortening 24mm and the o/s is a direct fit..as long as u use the conversion hubs that it..
