think the letters have to be standard size but you can trim the edge of the number plate a certain amount, can't remember the exact legal sizes. think it's something like has to be a 15mm space between edge of the letter and plate.

www.fancyplates.com should do you a 3/4 size rear plate, but beware cos you're more likely to get pulled with one on the back aswell

Both 3/4, bottom one smoked. Both with Bike font. Not sure on size, just asked for 3/4 sized plates!!

Got hassle from Police on the white one so had to put standard size plate back on. Smoked one I brought mainly for shows.

not a clue to be honest, probably about half size? I only fitted it this morning, so don't know how the police will react to it yet.

I've heard they getting pretty shit hot about number plates now, as number plate recognition cameras cant pick them up.

TIP - Keep standard legal plate in the car

"Sorry officer i didnt realise im not supposed to have a small number plate on my car !!! I'll change it now "

Definately worth a try, worked for me a couple of times. Just make sure you dont have the same copper twice

mine has a really bad black line down it from water ingress, so i will just say i thought it best to have a smaller plate but readable than a bigger plate that isnt readable.

Certain cars it doesnt look right on, no, because the recess on my front bumper isn't tooooo obvious I think it looks right imo.

Its all down to opinion, and yes they are illegal, but then some do look pretty cool! As do German plates etc, which I saw shit loads of yesterday, I don't hear anybody complaining about them??
