i have these alloys and plan to drop 40mm and i now need tyres

they currently are on 195/50/R15's however i need four new tyres and i was thinking either

195/50/15 Yokohama A539 H-Rated x4 @ £104.36
or
195/45/15 Yokohama S Drive W - Rated x4 @ £140.72

these alloys and tyres will be going on this

yes its got 5 doors

its what £36 more so im just thinking what would look better and with less chance of scrubbage.

Cheers.

45 profile will have less chance of scrubbing and reduces the overall diameter of the wheel. ~£141 is a good price for 4 tyres. Although I'd go for something like Toyo T1-Rs or Eagle F1's as IMO they're worth the extra ~£10 per corner - see My Tyres.

Think you will find that uni royals are FAR FAR superior to any yoko tyres. the a539 are notoriously shit! I personaly use uniroyal rainsports and they are as good as toyo if not better IMO.
