My mate told me that he's bought a Mk1 Astra GTE 1.8, but a very rare one that was sold and tuned by Bilstein, with a 1.8 Turbo engine. He said that there were about 200 or so.

Anybody know anything about them?

Yes.

Bilstein actually done a handful of Mk1 Gte's and some of the mk2 1.8's as well.

reports sugges they were quick but effectivly priced themseleves out the market and very few people took up the offer.
