Decided this is best option for the music festival next weekend
BUT - how quickly can it be all set up with myself to have the card and pin number?
I cant remember who on here works at a bank otherwise would have just sent a U2U

Ring the bank, see when they can get u an appointment, if u can get one now then you will have the card by the time you go away (not download is it?)

it normally takes a few weeks to get a new card IIRC, you'd have to go and get it set up ASAP. Walk into your local bank and they'll do it no probs.
How old are you though....and why dont you have a bank account already?

I've got a bank account I just want a seperate one to take to Rockness next weekend and if it goes missing it goes missing and I cancel it without the hassle of no bank card when I return. (if that makes any sense)

just set up a savings account with the same bank, transfer all your money to that account whilst you are away (other than what you want for the weekend) and then use your normal card.
If it goes missing then no worries as cash is safe and just need to order a new card, if not just transfer it back over and jobs a goodun.
