He'll be a Liverpool player by the end of the week, or early next week IMO though.

He is brilliant in Europe...just think of the goals he has scored which if he didnt what we wouldnt have won...ok in the prem he isnt a starter when we are playing away...but thats why we have a big squad...so we can pick and choose players for individuals games and competitions...IMHO..
We are looking to build on our squad..not gain a world class player and lose a very good player...

Id swap a world class for an (only good in some games) player.
I do agree that Garcia can be amazing and can unlock teams we struggle to open up BUT
-he does stupid tricks in the wrong places and gives the ball away
-always screws up the simple things like short passes and gives the ball away
-his amazing stuff he tries when attacking only comes off 1 in 10 times
-he offers zero defensive ability and often gives away stupid freekicks!

Yes but all that apart...think how big the goals he has scored for us have been...he scores in big games...he just doesnt do as well at the likes of Sheff Utd away etc...I do think he has been played a lot out of position though...hes a just off the forward type player...but due to us having no fucking left winger he has been played there a lot...
Basically my point is...he is a good player..we should keep him and just stump up the cash in full for Torres as we are not short of a few bob...that way we build on the squad...

According to the majority of sources its a done deal.
Its either £20m cash + Garcia. Or around £24-25m cash. All depends on Garcia and them reaching an agreement, and Torres reaching one with us when he gets back from his hols (or when he cuts it short to do so!!)
