picked up my new car at weekend,my mate gave it a quick once over with buffer yesterday and i took some pics today.1.6 sport,ms design euro 1 kit.lovely car to drive.

i payed £1750,lad wanted £1800,but knocked me 50 off because it needs a new fuel filter

i went to a local bodyshop earlier and to have all the rust sorted kit sprayed,probably imo a respray?.they wanted £1300-£1400 never had any body work done before would you say there having my pants down lol

Price for the car was v.good, price from the bodyshop suggests to me that you should look around, however, you get what you pay for, so if they wanted that much that would say it would have to be a top job, i still think you could get the kit sprayed etc. elsewhere, for less than that though, unless you're stating you wanted the whole car respraying

Also i suppose it depends on how much rust needs sorting etc.

well i dont know if you have heard of the company cosvaux?,well they have opened a body shop near me.theres rust around rear wiper,passanger door,on the bonnet above passanger headlight.just little bits all over really but the skirts are stoned chipped to feck and the rear and front bumper have inperfections

I could seriously undercut that price for you, Only problem being The bodyshop is in east manc, jut down the snakes pass

I would say, get the work done and then just get the car mopped. It don't look bad enough for a respray IMO.

It's my friends bodyshop (although i did help a little on mine) All the work done on my car was done there so check my garage

that does look a good job ben cheers,going to have another shop around all the local bodyshops theres one just up road from me,he does classic cars so he may be worth a visit
