was in pontypridd last night!
watching the FULL PONTY!
lost prophets headlining!
20 bands etc etc
amazing night! all finished about 11
had a long journey ahead of me, 120 miles ish
drove through cardiff, and my throttle cable snapped 
pitch black, and i had a full car!
what would you have done if you had no aa cover etc?

Why were you in Cardiff, if you were driving from mid wales to Pontypridd?

i pulled through what was left of the non snapped throttle and tied a shoe lace to it, applied loads of tape and drove 100miles like that 
was painful having my hand out of the window and Its not something I enojoyed doing but it worked!
parked in a little car park under a bridge mate, with cctv recording etcm, suited me fine

zip tie on the throttle body to pull it to 2500ish rpm constantly so can atleast do 50mph or such then dipped clutch and use brake when need to slow down. done it many a time
