Watch out for the headgaskets. Mum has a 2001 rover 45 and headgasket went at 24k mile

120 or 160, either way 3250 is pretty good. and head gasket was changed early 2003 think it was so shouldnt worry to much

Sounds like alot of car for the money, what happens when you need parts though do normal motor factors & supply places do most the bits??

people dont realise but still plenty of mg/rover dealers around with loads of stock left, also plenty of places online to get parts

Parts are still widely available for mg's/rover and longbridge opens again on tuesday so Mg rover will be back in business soon

Also that seems a decent price

if everyone run owt of parts, could you use the parts from the mg being made in japan or where ever it is

nowhere is going to run out of parts as spare parts are still being made for Mg-r's so you wouldnt need to source them from nanjing and if you had read my post you would see that MG-rover is re-starting production again
