Good evening
What's the best place/s to drink in your fine city?
I will be heading off up there for day three of a friend's stag weekend tomorrow morning and was wondering if there was anywhere in particular that shouldn't be left off the itinerery.
Anywhere plush, roomy and well ventilated with an eclectic mix of beers and ales at economical prices that happens to be staffed and frequented pretty much entirely by attractive young women would fit the bill nicely.
Many thanks in advance for any advice.
Oh, and Whittie, get your arse to Cardiff.
Edit : and bring Tom

I would be there, but have an exam on Tuesday so will still be in Swansea unfortunately.
Everytime I have been in to Cardiff I have gone to Bar Risa, great place below Jumpin' Jaks, opposite the Central Bus and train station.
Other than that, a really nice small bar we found last time with very easy to charm bargirls was Old Orleans, but that is hidden off down a side street off St. Mary's street.
In all honestly Jim, if you want a few good bars and clubs, hit St. Marys Street - you can't go wrong

Your best bet is sticking to st mary's street just around the corner from the train station - most bars are along there inc a strip club for those stag night essentials. youve got your sually edwards walkabouts flares etc plus a few clubs. A 10min walk away is a plush place called tiger tiger. very nice, but full of wannabe footballers and wannabe wags. £4.70 for a bottle fo magners but standard of totty is niiice! and thers a few decent bars around there aswell. Jus ask someone for directions
