would you buy a car wothout it ?????

it doesnt bother me as i would just service it when i got it
its just ive been looking at this car with no history at all
a few people said do not buy it but

The thing with no history is you don't know what state the engine is in. You have no idea when certain consumables were last changed, timing belts etc.

You can be safe to say that just about any diesel car will have a decent engine in it. It's not like you can do a lot with a service history, they don't stop the car from breaking down.

i dont have a service history with mine!

i get it serviced every year but its proving that if i come to sell

No, but any long term faults with the car that havn't been mentioned will be forgottten when the car changes hands. A service history shows that the car has being looked after.

aint got a service book! can you get them from vauxhall?

seen as its a new engine might start recording it

Not sure, maybe if you gave them the cars details. Subaru wouldn't give me an additional one.

Mine has a chart that references all the parts replaced, belts, plugs etc.

a well running engine is more of a selling point to me than a service history

i probably wouldnt buy a car without no service history at all... i'd buy a car with say over half of it present

ive never had a car with over 40k on the clock so generally dont think its a major factor although its nice to have

I couldnt care less about service history, means nothing..

Would look at the condition a car is in before anything.
