TBH lee it would be better getting the front end blasted, even my powdercoater could proberly do it, if you towed it to them

i would just chop the front off and replace everything from the bulkhead forward. be as handy as any really

never be the same result as new metal and plenty of waxoily after paintwork. not that extreme. id much rather do that than start cleaning rust and patching it up and then just waiting on it coming back

the above suggestions wont happen as the engine is already gonna cost him more than he thought as he bought an astra gsi turbo which turns out to be an xe running a turbo on xe loom and ecu
been welding most of today putting in strengthening plates etc and stitch welding. and seam sealer. will update soon

slow updates, but engine bay is all seam welded up and strengthening plates in. also chassis leg modded for alternator. bay is all painted up etc and most wiring is back in car with dash etc. hes nearly finished building the engine so should have that next week etc. pics to follow soonish

That looks amazing especially in the older pics when it was complete.
