How do they work? I was looking at one the other day (M88 JFF) and it cost pennies, something like £139
Is that the only price I'd pay?

I'd say that the £139 one was subject to VAT and the transfer fee, so it'd work out at £257.odd
With the DVLA site, there's no hidden charges.

Is it from DVLA then? As read the small print but usually all fees are included in their price...
