I bought a bar of chocolate the other day for the first time in years, a bounty no less, and was astonished when asked for 55p.

I remember you could get change from a pound for a can, a packet of crisps and a bounty

Worst is the cheapo corner shops who take them out of the muti packs which say "not to be sold seperatly" and they get 60p each for em!!!!

funniest thing is when you see these corner shop owners grabbing mulitbuy bargains. We were in Iceland the other week grabbing a pizza and i saw a guy with a trolley full of Lucozade as they were selling it for like 12 bottles for a £1 or something and i thought "he'll be putting that in his shop" then selling it for like a £1 a bottle, and this would work out at like 120% inflation or something like that (my maths has never been good)
