just about to buy some slimline fans to go on the front of my radiator. Would it be better to get blowers or suckers?

Why would you suck warm air from the engine bay to cool the rad and also try and get the air to flow in the opposite direction to what the air would flow over it naturally with no fan assistance?

well thats what i thought. but they would only really be on when the car is stationary, so i thought it might not have mattered.
