What about a mint B? I'd rather buy a tidy, low mileage 1.2 16v Corsa B than a tired old Corsa C. Would pick up a nice on for about £2k.

Personally, i'd go for as new as possible on a Corsa B. V, W or X reg, low mileage as possible. GLS or something so you get a few nice toys on it. Thats what i'd do.

sorry, missled well after driving it for 3 years its a bit uncomfy being a bit low, even though the zorst is quite queit it seems twice as load in the mornin...other road users seem to aim at me when wanting to claim on there insurance and i think i have a sticker oo the back window that says PLEASE PULL IN FRONT OF ME A TIGHT AS YOU CAN AS I REALY WANT CHIPS ON THE BUMPER AS I AM A CORSA DRIVING BADGER...but i cant seem to see it
then wilst @ work im like a queens quard keeping an eye on it, hopeing no one opens there door against it or uses it as bumper car...
the list goes on

I wouldn't but a Corsa C for 3k, it'd be old and crap IMO.
I, like Joe, would go for a low mileage B, or buy something different altogether.

Any well maintained corsa C will be miles better than a B.
An old corsa C is newer than an older B.
B's are terrible to drive.
You must be able to pick up a decent sxi for 3k now.

I'd go for a B 1.2 SXi, something like that. A decent Corsa C with all the bits on will be a complete dog imho.
£3k will get a pretty decent Polo mind - which will probably be pretty reliable.
