My girlfriend picked up her new car today. Its a 1.6 XS model so it comes with all the trimings, electric mirrors, windows, air con etc

Quick question, does anyone know if its the same 1.6 as fitted to a 106 gti / Saxo vts. Its a 2004 on a 54 plate.

My Driving instructer has one, and had one before as his own car! He loves em, and allways talks about how fast they go...blah blah blah. Personally i think they are shit; they are not fast, 2 inch of leg room in the front and back and no feel to the clutch at all! Ill give em their due, they look great, but so poxy to drive. I was really disapointed!

That is definately a 16v, I think it might be the same lump. They only share a different rocker cover. Although it may be the same as the C2 VTR is VTS which is the same with bigger valves.

bic and the maxi 106 is running a very good figure for N/A, although, thousands has been spent on it

16v, you can clearly see it has twin cam.

Plus it is the newer one. My mate has an older S reg xsi which is 8v i think.
