Lad that works with the local Vauxhall forum came in yesterday with his cav turbo, its a lovely example so heres a few pics:







and the reason he came in? a new turbo back exhaust system

custom downpipe and sports cat:



then a straight through centre section and a large backbox with twin square tailpipe:








pics were taken before we cleaned up all the welds etc... really want a cav 4x4 turbo now

exhaust was a complete bastard to do, no room at all on the rear of these, theres about 8mm clearance either side when you try and get the exhaust through the rear wishbone/propshaft/driveshaft/rear ARB section.

Im not 100% on the wheels, they do really suit the car, looks even better in the flesh

if he did sell it I feel I may be making first offers on it, engine bay looks really nice as well, didnt get any pics though.

oh, and that white astra behind it in the first pic belongs to our fabricator, its the ultimate sleeper! 4 door astra merit with a 300 bhp c20let. awesome machine.

can do mandrel bends, depends on what the customer wants to pay and the spec they ask for really.

you mean the boxes steve?

we use the Cobra seamless boxes as we are an Exhausts Uk dealer, for motorsport use we use a custom box system so we can pack the silencers with the correct amounts of ceramic wadding and reseal them.

VW land is frankly................. Brilliant i love it.

I was getting real hankering's for another quick Vauxhall, but i get in the golf its a brilliant daily drive solid and not badly slow its got just enough

I do really miss the Cav though

thankyou hamish, get saving, they arent cheap

if you are serious about getting one I can make one and do it mail order, we have a few corsa LET exhausts being made up, will make you one up while im doing them.

dont worry. Im saving gunna have to work my titties off to afford this engine rebuild. dont do that, im only gunna be fitting it at the end on summer, but i dont mind a roadtip up
