So heres the crack, was suposed to be working sunday night but had trouble getting a lift so phoned my mate to say id be late, he clocks me on thinkin hes doin me a favour. Turns out i couldnt get a lift.
We both get suspended and go in seperately for investigations, wer both suspended again untill friday when we will have a disaplinary with the store manager and he will decide if we get sacked or not, im about 80% that i will.
The same weekend i went for an interview for a new job, passed the assesment, had telephone interview yesterday, passed, got final formal interview satD, 20 people going back, 10 positions, therefore 50% chance of getting job.
Should i hand my notice in now incase i get sacked or wait incase i dont get the new job and dont get sacked?

Just been told that i should get offerd the chance to resign before being sacked, does anyone have anymore info on this?
Also i hated the job and want out anyway, could just never be bothered to do anything about it.
Aslo, i cant give a full weeks notice now, does this matter?
Thanks for looking

Hand in notice and refuse to come back (unless they withhold your pay) - tell them to stuff the job....

I get paid on Friday and my Disaplinary is friday, so i could go in(already been paid)hand in my notice and refuse to go through with the discaplinary, you reckon they would let me do that?

Unless there is something in your contract......don't see why not. Would save them the time having a meeting

better than mcdonalds etc!!!
if it was at maccys etc I'd just tell them to GTF
never good having a sacking offence on your cv tho and if you have been doing it a long time you cant just leave it out or it leaves a big hole in your cv

hand notice in, look for work elsewhere. Admit you made a mistake, try and get yer mate out of trouble first tho.
