I would say a turbo'd car is alot easier to drive sensibly than as you don't have to boot it and get it on boost where as a few mates with tb's and cams etc are horrible for a sensible drive.

I'm quite interested in that red gsi let on ebay, i would have a corsa LET but it would be a standard LET.

I honestly could say, never owned a tb car before. But iv heard there more reliable?
I think the only reason i got problems with mines is that i kicked the absolute baws out of it as often as i could. After all it was built to take abuse and it got it (hope sxi_time doesnt see this :lol
I will have one again, probably with a gsi shell this time, too much fun not too.

i kicked the living shit out of mine as thats what it was built for. if it wasnt for me being a stoner and fitting that rocker cover in the dark it would never have died. once its ran in, it will get the shit kicked out of it again. as why build something and not use it. it was never un-reliable other than 2 majot incidents out of my control

I wouldnt dream of using mine everyday. But thats purely because i live in traffic filled london and it takes me an hour and a half to do 10/15 miles!!!
If i didnt live in london, i think (as long as you had a back up plan just in case) it would be fine to use most days.

Mines on an F20 and has been for about 2 and a half years and she is fine and dandy!
I put the F20 in with the intention of changing it at a later date, but its all fine. It all depends what power you intend to run.

Drive it like its supposed to be driven - Thats what i say. Mine will be used everyday and driven to what the road conditions allow with in reason.

If its looked after then it is going to be reliable - i hope

Don't you run out of revs in 5th as well?
You know my thoughts on F20s and LET's. Theres the odd ok few, but the majority of them fail.

I wouldn't personnally, but it depends on peoples budgets etc.

Agree id rather of had the f20 than the f28, was a tad annoying when i ran out of revs in 5th. Also 6th would of been good for motorway cruising.

once i ran my engine in the f20 lasted 200 miles of proper driving. impo a complete waste of time. as for the dave vs muppetsport thing 400hp is about the limmits before going to aftermarket management so 350 with the right spec shouldnt be a problem especially as dave will be ditchin the motronic, its the little things that people overlook that make the differnce impo

the limits arent as much as people think with motronic. lets just say i maxed out the 550cc injectors and there were no limitations to its power becuase of the std loom and motronic ecu
