Well started off by going shopping with the mrs y.day, and seen loads of nice newer cars, and got me kinda wanting one now, went into a shop with used cars and sat in a 56 plate ford fiesta, top of the range bar one. then i sat in a Nissan Note (don't know why its just that something about them) then the lady came over to me and asked if everything is alright (as they do) and i went yes thanks just looking, and she asked us if we wanted to look at a broucher so i went yes she pointed out the fiesta on the page which was for sale at £7,566 and very low milage, and i also pointed out the Corsa D. but its a bit out of my price range, but i have also seen a Smart ForFour (1.1) £6,499) which i kind of like, i passed my test in April, (not even a month yet) but i sort of want a newer car, what should i do and does anybody know how much i would gt for my corsa:

.Flame Red
.1.4 16V
.5 door
.100,244 (on the clock)
.No Rust
.Only 2 owners (previous owner clocked upto 97,500 before i had it)
.Everything in tip-top condition-flew threw its previous MOT
.No Mods

Thanks

not really if you wanna get rid of it,

just if your gonna spend 6.5k on a nealry new car like a 1.1 forfour you might as well go for something slightly fun to drive with an once of credibility.

even something like a late 1.4 sri corsa for 5k

If your set on forking out for a new car why not try and find one with a yrs free insurance. That'll save you about £1000 wont it???

Im sure my neighbour has just bought a Corsa D on an 07 plate and he has a yrs free insurance.

I changed my car from an x reg 1.0 corsa (worth £1000) to a 1.2 brand new one (paid 10k).....insurance went up about £12 a year so might not change too much for you.

How old were you nik?

Normally with the free insurance you have to be over 19 or even 21 in some cases.
