there is this song that when i play it at home on the computer you can hear the bass go through the sub. However when I put it in the car it doesn't go through the sub and just through the front speakers? Why is this and can i fix it. I have no problems with other songs.

Don't you need to adjust the frequency range on the amp?

It's not the disc. It'll be the frequency, either the sub can't manage it or you need to adjust your amp. That's what it was like on my vibe.

as above the problem is to do with frequency.
try adjusting the frequency range on your amp, but i doubt that will work.
my theory is that the sub box for your computer is tuned to 80hz and the sub box in your car is tuned to 30hz, this means it is optimised to play a 30hz bass tone. The song you play may have a strong 80hz bass line and so you heard it properly from your computer and not your car. this would also explain why other songs are fine but this particular one is crap.
(obviously the hz figures are not real ive just put them there so you understand my point)
anyways to solve the problem you could buy a custom sub box made specifically for your sub and that will make the song sound great.
but if your only having the problem with one song I doubt you'll bother
