As my Uncle as his house etc, and he has a load of Marvel comics/figureens(sp) worth of Ł1,000+ and the people his with for house insurance will not insure them does anybody know who will?

no worries, Zurich insure my firearms which many insurers dont so they could also be worth a try.

I would avoid norwich union IMO, foreign call centres and not very helpful staff when claiming

you'll probably need to get them professionally valued aswell so they can attach some sort of value to them and come up with a cost. And may also want them stored in a fireproof storage unit, etc. (as they should be already if they are worth that sort of money!!).

i think they are already in a fireproof cabinet/safe, where would he get them professinlly valued cosmo?

a decent comic book shop would probably know. Other than that Im sure there are some UK comic websites who will have some links to both valuers and insurers.
