I have Sky, and a Freeview box which doesn't work as my area is a no-signal zone.

I'd agree with that.
Do you get Discovery and Nat Geo etc on Freeview though?

Nothing. TV isn't wired up to anything other than a DVD player, which rarely gets used but I'd like to get into watching more movies.

Dont think so but hardly worth paying about £50 a month or whatever it is now, and probs show up on youtube or something anyway.

Not quite true, but as she pays the bills, I can't really argue with her when she wants to watch Eastenders etc

Oh right, mines about £50 odd with all movies (which have be ruined by the new channel system) and sports (the only reason i have it tbh). Still suppose £20 is cheap enough, but atleast with tv-links/all online you can actually watch something good and not have ethier shit or repeats, and most programs are online first the broadcast over here.

got freeview upstairs in my room, its crap, all the channels are timed so if your watching something good late on uktv gold at about 20 past 12 it goes off
