as above and also if everything is away from car like wheels/hub carrier/ball joints etc do the drive shafts just pop out of the gearbox as i looked to me like it pulled on something else to, iv not had proper look yet as not had time but thought id ask now

just buy a split one that you glue on...your looking at about a tenner or less! just dun mine

split ones are shít
A proper boot should be about a fiver, cv joint is held on the shaft with a circlip. Shaft is held in the box with a spring clip!
